In this video, you will create column headings in your spreadsheet to organize data in your guide.

You will also change the font styles and colors, to make your guide fun and easy to use.

When your guide is complete, each row will contain information about a location, And each column will describe location details.

To start, create column headings for: "Location name" and "address".

This is basic information your audience will need to find the locations you promote.

"Description", to give the audience a little more detail about what to expect at each location.

And "category" to allow viewers to sort the guide by the type of location they are looking for.

Then, reflect on what other details your audience may want to know and add one to two headings that are specific to your area and audience.

For example, if your guide focuses on local sites or attractions, you might include the heading "Tours" to track which locations offer guided tours.

Or if your guide highlights local restaurants, you might add the heading "Meals" to identify which meals each option serves.

Next, experiment with different formatting to make the headings stand out.

You might change... The font style, color, or size of the font.

You might also bold the text to make it stand out even more.

You can continue adjusting the formatting for each heading individually or you can change the formatting for the whole row at once.

Select the heading row.

Then, make changes to the text formatting.

Then, resize the columns to make the text in each cell easier to read.

Now, it's your turn: Add column headings to your guide to cover general information about each place, add one or two more column headings that are specific to your area or audience, change the font style, size, or color of the headings, and resize the columns.
