Congratulations, you’ve completed the lesson! You learned how to create, name, close, reopen, type, and format text in a document.

First, you created a blank document and gave it a new name.

Then, you closed the document.

Next, you found and reopened the document in your Google Drive.

Then you typed text into the document.

You learned about the useful “undo” and “redo” buttons.

After that, you formatted the text by making it larger, center aligning it, and bolding it. Now that you know how to use Google Docs, you can make an online document for anything you need to write down or plan.

In the future, you can use Google Docs to take notes in a meeting, keep a journal, make a grocery list, or even write a book! Remember: anytime you make a document in Google Docs, it will be saved online in your Google Drive, so you will be able to access it from any device connected to the internet.
