In the previous video, you added location markers to your map and renamed them.

In this video, you will edit the markers on your map by adding descriptions and images.

A description demonstrates why a location is significant by providing some background information.

An image gives a preview of what can be found at a location and makes your map more interesting to look at.

To begin, select one of the markers on your map to add a description of why this location is meaningful.

You might tell a story about a memory you have from an event that took place there, describe how this place makes you feel, or explain how the location is important to the community.

Add specific information about the location and why you chose to add it to your map.

Save the description.

Then, add an image.

You can upload an image from your computer, use a photo from Google Drive, or search for an image online.

Choose an image that you think best represents the location...

...and make sure you have the right to use the image.

Then, repeat this process for all of your location markers.
