Make a Flowchart Wrap-Up
Transcript
In this lesson, you created a flowchart to diagram a process.
Creating a flowchart in a digital drawing helps you visualize steps in a process and make decisions.
When you build a flowchart with digital tools, you can quickly add, delete, or move shapes and connectors if your process changes.
As you created your flowchart, you: Created a new drawing and added a title, Made a list of the steps in the process, Drew shapes and added text for each step of the process, Added and arranged connectors to show the sequence and flow of the process, And added a background to your drawing to make your flowchart stand out.
Being able to effectively describe a process is an important skill for projects you have at school, work, home, or your community.
There are many reasons for creating a flowchart.
You could organize and manage tasks for a group project or assignment.
You could plan ways to improve your grades...
Or you could plan a project in your school or community to help solve a problem.
Flowcharts allow you to explore different approaches to any decision you have to make or process you need to plan.
With a flowchart, you can easily see the choices and possible outcomes of each choice, helping you to choose the best outcome for your decision, and saving you time and energy!
