In this video, you will both do research to learn specific information about the schools you’re interested in.

You will then create a list with at least three things you discovered during your search.

Doing research will help you answer questions that may come up during the interview and show the college that you took the time to prepare.

To begin, share the document you created in the last video with your partner.

Select the permission you want to use.

Edit means the person you share it with can make changes directly in your document.

Comment allows them to make comments, but not change the document.

And view lets them see your document only.

Since you both will be typing in and making changes to the document at the same time, select Edit.

If you did not create the document, find the shared document and open it at your own computer.

To begin, type the name of the school you are interested in and format the text so it stands out.

You and your partner will be typing at the same time so it’s perfectly fine if the text jumps around a bit.

You can adjust everything later on.

One of you may want to use a different text color to separate the information even more.

You may already have done some research about a particular school during the application phase, but this is your chance to do a little more about something specific you’re interested in.

This could be information about a particular major or activities or volunteer opportunities that the school offers.

Focusing on specific information in your research will help you answer questions like these.
