In this video, you will brainstorm people or places important to your culture and add their names to your collage by adding text boxes.

To start, think about how personal experiences from your culture or community have affected your life.

Then, think about the people who have influenced you or your community.

Some of those people might include: activists, musicians, politicians, inventors, or artists.

Next, think of places that are meaningful to you or your community that you want others to know about.

This could include places you have already visited or that you want to visit, or places that bring members of your community together.

For help brainstorming, search online.

Open a new tab in your browser and go to "google.com." Doing research is a great way to learn more about people and places that have had an impact on your culture or community.

You can learn more information about cultural history, social movements, and community leaders.

Once you decide on a cultural icon you'd like to feature, add it to your drawing.

Draw a text box in a corner of your drawing.

Don't worry about how your text box looks.

You will edit it later.

Type the name of your first icon or place in your text box.

Then, create four additional text boxes to add the names of other people or places you'd like to feature in your collage.

Now, it's your turn: brainstorm people and places to include in your collage, add a text box to your drawing, type the name of the person or place in the text box, and repeat for the rest of the people or places you chose.
