Consider Your Target Audience

In the previous activities, you read movie ideas and picked three movies you thought would be successful.

Next, you analyzed data about real movies and compared your hypotheses to that data.

Finally, your group chose one movie you thought would be most successful based on the data patterns you found.

In this activity, you will create a poster that will make people want to see the movie your group selected.

To do this, you will adjust the page settings to make a poster-sized drawing.

Then, you will add and modify text and images to create your poster.

Each person in your team will design a different poster to promote your movie.

Then, you will gather with your group members to give and receive feedback about your poster.

A good movie isn't all about the data.

No algorithm can ensure a great movie.

Data can help you create a film that lots of people like, but it's also about having a good storyline and about creating marketing materials that appeal to audiences.

To get started, create a blank drawing.

From your Google Drive, select "New," "More," and "Drawing." Then, move on to the next video to start designing your poster.

Once each group member designs a poster for the movie your group chose, you'll gather to give feedback.

Now, it's your turn: open a new Google Drawing and move on to the next video.
