In this lesson, you worked with your classmates to create a set of classroom expectations.

Thinking about and discussing these expectations helps create a safe and positive learning environment for everyone.

In this lesson, you: created a presentation, renamed it, and titled your first slide.

brainstormed classroom expectations as a group and added them to the presentation, added your own slide with a classroom expectation, a title, and an image, and shared the presentation with your teacher.

Setting expectations is a good idea whenever you are working with others.

You might set ground rules for how you want people to interact in a meeting or a club.

You might have a code of conduct that you follow for a team or at your job.

When everyone knows what is expected of them, it creates an environment where people respect each other and do what is right for the well-being of the group.

You can refer to your presentation about classroom expectations to help you remember them throughout the year.

If everyone follows the expectations you and your classmates wrote, your classroom will be a positive environment for everyone to learn and grow.
