Transcript

In this video, you will comment on the answer your partner provided.

One comment should focus on what you really liked about their answer, and the other will suggest something they could add to make it even better.

What’s great about preparing for your interview with a partner is that they can look at your answer with an objective view and give you suggestions on something you may not have thought of.

To start, take a few minutes to read over your partner’s answer.

Read thoughtfully, first paying special attention to something you thought your partner did well.

Select the specific text and write an encouraging comment about it.

The comment will show up with your name next to their answer.

Next, make a suggestion about something your partner could add to make their answer better.

Remember to be thoughtful, polite, and constructive when you make your comment.

Great job! If you want, use your questions and answers to take turns role-playing the parts of the interviewer and student.

The more you practice, the better prepared you’ll feel.

Now, it’s your turn: Provide a comment about something you liked about your partner’s answer, Make a suggestion on something to add to make it even better.

And take turns role-playing the parts of the interviewer and student if you want.
