Introduction to Organize Your Time with a Digital Agenda
Transcript
In this lesson, you will create your own digital agenda.
Organization and time management are important skills for both school and life.
With planning and practice, you can learn how organization and time management will help you get things done -- and enjoy your free time as well.
When you are organized, you have a plan for: what you need to do, being on time, and having the things you need with you.
When you manage your time, you are: planning ahead, keeping track of deadlines, and finishing tasks on time.
An agenda -- or calendar -- is a great tool that can help you organize and prioritize tasks to complete work on time.
Some people use a planner for their agenda.
Others use their computer, tablet, or phone.
As you create your agenda, you will learn many new digital skills.
"Digital skills" help you find information, share things with others, or create something entirely new when you are using technology.
To complete this lesson, you will: create an agenda, add school days as events, add tasks, and set reminders.
This lesson uses Google Calendar, but you could apply these skills and concepts in most other calendar programs or your own planner.
