In this lesson, you designed and shared a digital badge to recognize your classmates for positive character traits or good deeds.

You also created a scrapbook to keep your badge and to collect badges you earn from your classmates.

In this lesson you: chose a character trait that meant something to you, created a badge featuring your character trait, chose a font and font color for your text, added a border around your badge, chose a border and fill color, added a background color, created a digital scrapbook and added your badge to it, and shared your badge with a classmate.

As you completed this project, you created something you can share with classmates who have a positive impact on you and other people at your school.

With your digital scrapbook, you and your classmates have a system to recognize each other with badges all year long.

The design skills you learned in this lesson will be useful to you in your school and in your future career.

Professionals who use design principles in their jobs include graphic designers, visual artists, photographers, and many others.

Digital badges can be used at school for a variety of reasons, such as: to list group project roles, to serve as name badges for a school activity, and to label items at a fundraiser or other event.

Using the resources in this lesson throughout the school year can help you feel good about yourself and your classmates.

Earning a digital badge might give you and your classmates a sense of pride and accomplishment.
