In the last video, you created an event.
In this video, you’ll add details to your event, like the time, description, and location.
You may notice that the “All day” box is checked.
If your event will last all day, like a vacation, leave that box checked.
If your event has a start and an end time, click on the "All day" box to un-check it.
Starting and ending times for your event will appear.
Now, enter your event’s start and end time.
Click on the starting time for your event.
This will open a menu with all the possible starting times.
Click on the time that you want your event to start.
Repeat this process with the ending time for your event.
You can also type in times you want your event to start and end.
Next, click on “Add location” and type in the location where the event will take place.
Then press Enter.
Now click on “Add description,” and type in a short description of your event.
Your description can just be a few words about your event, or you can provide more details.
Your calendar will automatically create a notification for any event you schedule.
Notifications are reminders that pop up on your screen to remind you that an event is coming up.
If an event is an all-day event, it will send you a notification the day before the event.
If the event is at a specific time, the notification will come a half hour before the event.
You can choose the timing of any notifications.
To do this, click "Add notification." Then click to select the amount of time and the increment of time, in minutes, hours, days or weeks.
For events like someone’s birthday, you may want a notification a month ahead, so you have time to buy them a gift.
For a notification like a work meeting, you may want a notification five minutes ahead, so you have enough time to go to the meeting room.
If you need more than one reminder, you can add multiple notifications.
Once you’ve added all the details to your event, click Save to save it onto your calendar.
If you want to change the event at any point, just click twice on it to open it back up.
Once the event is open, you can change any details you wish.
