Google Arts and Culture is a website that provides access to arts- and culture-related content from around the world.

You can watch videos and view exhibits, zoom in on artwork, explore images and sounds, and read articles to learn about celebrations and events that are important to cultures worldwide.

One of the topics at Google Arts and Culture is space.

In this lesson, you will create your own interactive presentation about the Space Shuttle Discovery.

For example, you might decide to create an adventure story.

There’s so much to explore about the Discovery and so many interesting space facts you can use in your presentation...

like the many women who shaped the shuttle program over its history, And all the tools and equipment needed to fly the Discovery successfully.

For this presentation, you will use Google Slides.

On each slide, you will tell one part of your story, then give your audience two choices to click.

Each choice will take them to a different slide that continues the presentation.

For example, one reader might want to go on a spacewalk with their fellow astronauts, while another may decide to stay in the shuttle to talk to Mission Control.

That way, your audience gets to be part of what you create! You will follow specific directions to get started...

...But later, you can be as creative as you want, weaving in the interesting facts you learned about the Discovery at Google Arts and Culture.

Ready to create your story?
