In this lesson, you will work with a group to brainstorm some classroom expectations.

You will then create a presentation to share your classroom expectation ideas.

Being part of a class is a fun and rewarding experience because you get to know your classmates and be part of a team.

In order to create a safe and positive atmosphere for the class, it is important that everyone treat each other and their teacher with kindness.

Classroom expectations are the behaviors that help make the classroom a good place for all students to learn.

Some common classroom expectations include raising your hand and waiting to be called on before speaking, coming to class on time and prepared, and not disturbing people who are working.

When you and your fellow students decide on classroom expectations together, everyone is more likely to follow them.

As you complete this lesson, you will: create a presentation, brainstorm classroom expectations with a group, add slides for each expectation to your presentation, add images that illustrate each expectation, and share your presentation with your teacher.

This lesson uses Google Slides, but you could apply these skills and concepts in any presentation application or even using paper and art supplies.

When using Google Slides, keyboard shortcuts may be easier to use than a mouse.
