Copy Starter Project

This video is only for people who did not already create a document in the Google Docs for Beginners lesson.

If you have already created your celebration planning document or any other digital file during a previous Google Apps for Beginners lesson, click Next to skip to the next video.

In this video, you will make a copy of a sample document, which you will later use to complete this lesson.

First, click on the blue link that says “Celebration Planning Document” to the right side of this video.

A window will open, asking you if you want to make a copy of the Celebration Planning document.

Click “Make a Copy.” A copy of the document will open up.

In the upper left side of your document, you’ll see the document’s title: “Copy of Celebration Planning Document.” Click on this title, then use your keyboard’s delete button to delete the words “Copy of,” so that the document will be titled “Celebration Planning Document.” Now it’s your turn: Click the Celebration Planning Document link, Click “Make a copy,” And delete the words “Copy of.” Then, click Next to watch the next video.
