In order to be awarded a scholarship, you will need to apply for it.
Scholarship applications are usually reviewed by a committee or other individuals associated with the organization, and then a winner or winners are chosen.
Many of your scholarships will require unique applications.
For example, you might need to write an essay, provide letters of recommendation, or give a live interview.
In this video, you will write notes about how to apply for each of the scholarships in your spreadsheet. Taking notes on the scholarship application requirements will help you complete the application more easily later.
It will also make you aware of any components of the application that may take longer to prepare or acquire, such as musical pieces for an audition.
To begin, add a new column to your spreadsheet and label it “How to Apply.” Refer back to the pages with the information about the scholarships you listed and read about how to apply for each scholarship. In some cases, you may need to go to the organization's website for details.
Take notes on how to apply for each scholarship. You don’t need to list every requirement in detail; just briefly describe the main components of the application.
