In this video, you will write the chorus for your song.

The chorus conveys the main message or theme of your song.

It repeats throughout the song to emphasize this message.

The chorus is often the most memorable part of the song.

When you have a song stuck in your head, it’s likely the chorus that keeps repeating in your mind.

While each verse of a song generally has the same melody but uses different words...

To begin, insert a label for your chorus.

By labeling the chorus’s first instance in your song, you can simply write “Chorus” each time you want it to repeat, rather than having to rewrite all of the words.

Then, look back at your song description and think about the main message you want to express with your song.

Write two to four lines that convey that message.
