Transcript

In this video, you will duplicate the template slide and fill it in with your own information.

This helps the people participating in your virtual reunion learn what has happened since the last time you saw each other or find out something they might not have known about you.

It also gives them an example of how they might fill out their own slide.

To start, duplicate the template slide.

Then, begin filling out your slide.

As you type, think about what your relatives, friends, or other people participating might be interested to know about you.

Next, add a few images to your slide.

You can use your own photos that you took with your phone or camera and upload to your computer or to Google Drive.

Or, if you want to use an image and don’t have one, you could search for one online.

Search for the image and make sure you have the right to use the image.

Add captions to one or more of your images if you wish.

Captions describe what the pictures are about.

Next, ask the people you live with to add their slides to the presentation.

Ask them to use your template as a guide but to do their slides however they wish, adding text, images, videos, shapes, links, borders, and color.

If you’d like, you can work together with the people you live with to create a “family” slide.

Or, you can help each other make your own slides.

Now, it’s your turn: Duplicate the template, Fill out your own slide, And ask the people you live with to create their slides or make one together as a group.
