In the last lesson, you embedded street view images from Google Maps into your spreadsheet to inform users about a specific place.
In this lesson, you will use Google My Maps to create a customized map of the places in your area guide.
Creating a personalized map allows your users to see all the places in your area guide at once.
They can also click on points in the interactive map to see your data in a new way.
In this lesson, you will... Import the data from your spreadsheet into a map, customize your map, and add a link to your map in your area guide spreadsheet.
To begin, open your drive and create a new map in Google My Maps.
Then, name your map and add a brief description of your area for your users.
Now, it's your turn: Create a new map in Google My Maps, title the map, and add a description.
