Set Up Your Presentation

In this video, you will set up your presentation by completing the title slide and choosing a theme.

To begin, add a title to your first slide.

Choose a fun, engaging title that will help new students feel welcome right away.

For example, you might include your school's mascot in the title.

Then, add a subtitle that explains what your presentation is about.

And add the names of your group members.

Next, choose a theme for your presentation.

A "theme" sets a format, font and colors of your slides to give your presentation a consistent style.

Each theme gives your presentation a different look and feel.

Choose a playful, colorful theme to make your presentation look friendly and inviting.

Customize the theme of your presentation by changing the background color.

If your school has a school color, change the background to incorporate that color.

Or, select any color you like.

Now, it's your turn: add a title to your presentation, add a subtitle that describes your presentation and includes your group members' names, select a theme, and change the background color.
