In this video, you will decide what information from your blogger’s profile is safe to share online.

You will then choose information from your blogger’s profile that is relevant to your blog and will be interesting to readers.

To start, review your blogger’s profile for P-I-I.

This is information that might specifically identify them, such as their online account information or cell phone number.

To show that you will not include this information on the blog, strike through it.

Continue reviewing the profile and think about what other information should not be included on the blog,such as details about the blogger’s: It isn’t safe to share this type of information because it could potentially identify a person or affect their safety.

That person might also become upset or worried that their personal information has been shared with others without their permission.

Use the strikethrough tool to exclude any other information you don’t feel is safe to share.

After you strike through any P-I-I, review the blogger profile again to decide what else you might avoid sharing.

For example, this could be information about a family member that they might not want on a public blog.

Make at least one comment about something you may not want to share.

Now that you’ve reviewed the blogger profile to exclude information that is not safe to share online, choose what information you’d like to include in your blog.

Look for information that is relevant to the blog and will engage your readers.

Then use the highlight tool to mark it, so you will know to include it in the blog.

As you highlight, think about what information might be interesting to someone reading your blog.

Leave at least one comment about details you definitely want to include in the blog and why.

This will help you write the introduction to your blog.
