Creating a mind map also helps you understand how things that happen affect how you feel, think, and act.

As you worked through this lesson, you selected a recent event as your main topic, brainstormed words about the topic, Organized your words into branches and twigs, Added shapes and text to your mind map, Connected the parts of your mind map, Made your project unique with color, photos or images, GIFs, or Word Art, And shared your mind map.

As a result of this lesson, you also learned digital skills like formatting text...

This lesson demonstrated making a mind map with shapes, but there are other ways you can do it, such as only using lines instead of shapes.
