Download your mind map as a PDF and email it to someone you want to share it with.

In this extension, you will download your mind map as a PDF and share it with someone by email.
In the main lesson, you had the option to share your mind map in a class presentation.
First, you downloaded the drawing as a JPEG file.
Then, you uploaded it into a Google Slides presentation.
A PDF is another type of file you can use.
It’s a good choice for sharing if you’re not sure what device or file system the other person is using because it will open the same way no matter what.
To begin, open Gmail.
Then, create a new message.
Type the email address of the person you want to send the mind map to.
Add a subject line so the person getting your email knows what it’s about.
Type a message to the recipient explaining what your mind map is about and what you want them to do with it.
For example, are you just sending it so they can see it or do you want their feedback?
Add a closing.
In another tab, open your mind map...
...And download it as a PDF.
Then, attach the PDF to the email.
Finally, send the email.
Now, it’s your turn: Create a new email message, Download your mind map as a PDF, Attach the PDF to the email, And send the email.
Write a Short Description of Your Mind Map
Write a short description to explain your mind map.

In this extension, you will write a short description to explain your mind map.
In the main lesson, you learned that mind maps are a great way to organize your thoughts visually.
Writing a description gives you the chance to explain your thought process to others and why you decided to make the connections you did.
To begin, open your mind map.
Keep this tab open to reference as you create your description.
In another tab, create a new document and rename it.
Give your description a title and format the text.
Now, type your first sentence, which should describe your main topic.
Then, type a sentence or two to explain each branch.
Separate your description into paragraphs according to what makes sense to you.
As you write, use your personal experiences, thoughts, and feelings to describe how the twigs connect to each branch.
When you’re finished, proofread your description by running a spelling and grammar check.
Now, it’s your turn: Create a new document, Rename it, Add a title and format the text, Type a description to explain your main topic and branches and how the twigs connect to each branch, And proofread your description.
Add an Inspirational Quotation to Your Mind Map
Add a quotation that inspires you to your mind map.

In this extension, you will add a quotation that inspires you to your mind map.
A quotation is something that is said or written by someone else.
Many quotations have been recorded throughout history and are widely known today You may have heard or seen quotations from people like civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Hockey player Wayne Gretzky, Or poet Maya Angelou.
To begin adding a quotation, first open your mind map.
Look at it as a whole and try to determine what kind of quotation you should search for.
For example, you might search for quotations that have to do with overcoming hard times or standing up for what’s right.
Keep your mind map open in another tab as you search for a famous quotation.
Click on the link to one of the websites.
Now, choose a quote that best fits the theme of your mind map.
Select the text and use Control-C or Command-C to copy it.
Be sure to copy the quotation marks too.
Return to your mind map and insert a textbox where you want to put the quotation.
To remove the original formatting, use the Edit menu to paste the text.
It’s important to give attribution, or credit to the source, when you’re using a quotation.
To do this, copy and paste the name of the person.
Adjust the size of your text if it’s too big or small.
And if you’d like, change the text’s font style...
...Alignment...
...And color.
Now, it’s your turn: Search for a quotation that inspires you, Add the quotation to your mind map, Adjust the size of your text if it’s too big or small, And change the font style, alignment, and color if you wish.
