Plan the Parts of Your Mind Map
Transcript
In this video, you will identify which words will be the branches and twigs in your mind map.
Remember that the branches represent how the main event affected people in different ways.
They may have only affected a few people, lasted only a limited time, or been the result of a specific part of the larger event.
The twigs show how those related events affected one person as an individual.
To begin, type at least four words or phrases from your list in the branches column.
Feel free to add more words to your list if you need to create more branches.
In the twigs column, type at least two words or phrases from your list that relate to each branch.
Separate them with a comma, and add more words to your list if you need to create more twigs.
It’s ok if you don’t have the same number of twigs for each branch or if you want to skip any words from your list that do not fit into either column.
Great work! Now you’re ready to start your mind map.
Keep this document open so you can reference it while you work.
Now, it’s your turn: Type at least four words from your list in the branches column, and type at least two words for each branch in the twigs column.
