Share Your Mind Map

In this video, you will share your mind map if you’d like.

Just like writing in a journal, spending time in nature, and talking with someone you trust, creating a mind map is a great way to get your thoughts together.

For this reason, your mind map may be personal to you, so if you’d like to keep it private or just share it with your teacher, that’s ok.

If you’d like to share it with others, check with your teacher to see if they have any preferences about who to share it with and how.

You can… Share it with another partner or group, Or include it in a class mind map presentation.

To share with others, first type in their email address.

Then, give them Commenter permission.

Type a note describing the type of feedback you would like.

They might: Tell when they had the same or a similar experience or emotion, Offer support or encouragement, Or share insight about something.

People will get an email that you shared your mind map with them.

Then, they can provide the feedback you requested.

Another way you can share is by putting together a presentation with your class.

To get started, have one person create a new presentation and rename it.

Then, share it with those who will be participating...

...And give them Editor permission.

In another tab, return to your own mind map.

Now, download it as a JPEG file.

Downloading means to save it to your computer.

Finally, add a slide to your class’s presentation...

...And upload your mind map.

Note that if your mind map has GIFs, they will not animate when uploaded.

Your classmates can also add their own mind maps.

You can then take turns explaining the experiences in your mind maps during a class discussion.

Talk with your teacher about the best way to share it.
