Add a Border and Background Color
Transcript
In this video, you will feature one image by adding a border.
You will also add a background color to your collage.
Placing more emphasis on one piece of your collage creates hierarchy.
"Hierarchy" involves using visual elements to emphasize or draw attention to important parts of a design.
To start, select the image you put in the center of your collage.
Then, add a border.
Then adjust the thickness of the border.
Next, choose a color for your border.
If your images are close together, the image border might disappear along the edges that are shared with the other images.
To correct this, change the order of your images so the most important image is on top.
Bring your feature image to the front of your design.
Next, change the background color of your collage.
Adding a background color will highlight your images and text and make your collage look complete.
Right click on the background of your drawing to change your background color.
Choose a color that will complement your design.
Now, it's your turn: add a border to your feature image, change the border weight and color, and add a background color to your collage.
