Choose a Subject and a Theme
Transcript
In this video, you will choose a recipient for your digital card, choose a theme for your presentation, and fill out the title slide.
The "title slide" introduces the topic of your presentation.
To begin, decide who you will show appreciation for.
You can show appreciation for anyone you choose.
For example, you might thank a teacher, coach, or friend.
Or you might say thank you to a local store that sponsored your music program, or to parents and community members for supporting a school fundraiser.
You could even show appreciation for a historical figure or fictional character you are learning about.
Once you have chosen the recipient of your digital card, add a title to your presentation and include your name as the subtitle.
Next, choose a theme for your presentation.
A "theme" is a set of colors, text styles, backgrounds, and other design elements that give your presentation a certain look.
To pick a theme for your presentation, think about the person you are expressing appreciation for.
Choose a theme that expresses the personality of the subject of your card or that celebrates a particular event or occasion.
Decide whether your theme should be more playful or serious based on the card's subject.
Or, choose a theme that expresses your personality and tastes.
Now, it's your turn: choose a person to show appreciation for, add a title and subtitle to your first slide, and choose a theme for your presentation.
