In the first video, you brainstormed five things about yourself that you would like to share with your class and teacher.

In this video, you will add images and text to visually represent those five things on your slide.

You can use the comment you made to help you remember what you wanted to share.

When you share information visually, you use images and text to communicate and express yourself.

To start, search for images that represent what you would like to share.

Search for the image and make sure you have the right to use the image.

Think about what search terms to use to get the images you’re looking for.

For example, instead of searching for the term social justice, try searching for a current or historical figure who is known for working for social justice.

If you’re proud of your nationality or heritage, try searching for the country’s flag.

Insert the image.

Then, move it to where you would like on the slide and resize it.

Continue searching for and resizing images.

If you’d like, upload your own photos that you took with your phone or camera to your computer or to Google Drive.

If you’re using photos of specific people, be sure to get their permission first.

You don’t need to just use images and photos.

For example, if there’s an inspirational quotation you like that fits something you want to share, feel free to add that.

Format the text.

When you’re finished adding images and text to represent yourself, resolve your comment.

Now, it’s your turn: Search for or upload images that represent yourself, resize the images and place them where you want them on the slide, add and format text if you’re using it, and resolve your comment.
